Municipal Pictures, Town Hall, December 25th 1917
Messrs. The Newcastle Film Supply
Dear Sirs,
It is but fair that I should advise you that my committee have expressed their complete satisfaction with the Famous Players and Lasky productions. We made our own selection last season, but at the beginning of the present season - owing to our inability to attend your trade shows regularly - the selection of practically our entire feature programme was left in the hands of your Mr Dent, who has gauged with admirable consistency the material that "grips" and sustains the interest of our patrons week after week.
And our Hall is not large enough when Mary Pickford pays her frequent visits to Kirkintilloch!
With good wishes for the New Year,
Yours faithfully,
J.D. Hutchison, manager"
