The cinema trade employed thousands of people in Scotland, most of them in the exhibition sector as cinema staff. This list is a work in progress that documents some of the most notorious members of the trade. While some biographical information is given if available, we have not tried to trace personal stories, but rather to show how these people were connected to companies, venues, and film production. We will continue to add to this list and welcome new information.
