'Captain Calvert and members of Gaumont's "Prince Charlie" company are now busy at work on the film at Arran. Our knowledge of the history of Prince Charles is somewhat hazy, but we have not been able to discover his connection with Arran. However, we trust that with the prominent actors engaged in this film, we shall get another drawing subject from Gaumonts to equal "Rob Roy", and if that be so, no one will quibble much about the historical records. Even Gladys Cooper's name did not lighten the labours of those who had the arranging of rooms for the company in Arran, And Bob Booth's version of room hunting in Arran would provide a good comedy film plot.'
